What our members are saying about the club!

Bill C - describes his decision to join the club as a good investment for his future boating style. Mark S said he joined the club because of its easy access to the Marco River and Gulf of Mexico. “From my point of view, it also made sense to purchase a dry slip as opposed to renting a space." H.S. - "Purchasing at Cedar Bay gives me and my family the boating conveniences we want. I just do not have time to mess with my boat. The staff are first class." Harold L. - "The potential appreciation at the club is a strong imperative to buying. The level of services offered vs. comparable facilities in Naples & Marco are unparalleled. The facilities and level of services help to make the appreciation possible not to mention dwindling supply."

The Team OCEAN program is a volunteer based program utilizing teams of volunteers to provide outreach and education to the general public that use marine resources, out in their element including on-water, on-island, at boat ramps, piers, and other marine resource access points; promoting enjoyment of marine resources through sustainable practices. Lock It & Dock It - Event

In an effort to slow the theft of larger multi-outboard engine boats in Collier County, and improve the general security of all vessels, Cedar Bay Yacht Club, area law enforcement agencies, and educational groups will join forces to host a “Dock It and Lock It” event. The following organizations will be participating: Cedar Bay Yacht Club Collier County Sheriff’s Crime Prevention Collier County Sheriff’s Marine Bureau Marco Island Police Marine Unit Sea Tow – Vessel safety and recovery The purpose of the event is to educate boat owners on how they can improve the odds against their vessels being targeted by criminals. It will include a display of electrical and fuel cut-off switches that can be installed in vessels to make them more resistant to theft. A highlight of the event will be a contest to see if you can “steal a boat”. A specially equipped boat will be docked at the Cedar Bay Yacht Club that has been equipped with some special “anti-theft” devices. The keys will be on board…but hidden…and you can have 5 minutes to get the engines started and keep them running for one minute. Prizes will be awarded if you can do it.
