| CONSTRUCTION
Cedar Bay Yacht Club has been busy with Phase I of the facility – renovations of the dry storage barn, docks and outside areas. Below is a sampling of what has been accomplished in the last year:
- Replaced all dock bumpers with higher quality, non-marking grey bumpers
- Installed state of the art filet table with 4 positions, sun canopy, tackle box shelf with self flushing systemNew fuel pump dockside with system upgrades
- Structurally reinforced fuel dock
- Upgraded live bait tanks / adding capacity for shiners and finger mullet
- Repaired building, barn, parking lot and dockside lighting
- Replaced forklift stop plate at sea wall
- Replaced dockside railing with high end blue powder coated aluminum railing
- Installed all new electricity in the storage barn
- Replaced / repaired lighting in service center
- Replaced utility roll door in service center
- Structurally reinforced the storage barn – angle iron, footings, tension cables
- Repaired / replaced storage barn roof
- Painted entire facility (barn, ship store, fuel dock) in new yacht club colors – Navy Blue & White
- Replaced all bent storage rack beams in barn
- Barn reconfiguration – engineering company near completion
Plans for Phase II are on display: New Ship Store, Yacht Club Office in the corner of the storage barn. New Restaurant, Member’s Club House / Lounge and restrooms, lockers, showers and sauna.
